Hi All

Has been a long time since I have tread these boards, hope everyone is doing well on their journey. I just have a question that kind of has been bugging me a bit lately and thought i had better get it sorted out before it is too late.

I have my green card and have had it for a year. I am travelling back to Australia in August for 2 weeks. My passport is still in my maiden name and my green card is in my married name. I am thinking as long as I have a certified copy of my marriage certificate this shouldnt be an issue. I looked in to changing my name on my passport and it is a very long detailed process, one that I would prefer to avoid and to just wait til my passport expires and then change it. Has anyone had any experiences travelling where passport and green card names differ? Please help me if you can. This is my first stop in getting info, i have not yet tried to contact DHS.

Thanks

Suzie :)
