We already set up an appointment for K3 which was 4 weeks from this date. Our CR1 was completed today as according to NVC operator. Are they going to send the CR1 papers after few days to Manila? The operator told husbie that they would not send it unless the CR1 interview was already scheduled. Is this true? He also told my husbie to call DOS and explain the situation.. Is that the right move?

We are hoping to flip K3 to CR1... Any helpful information would be appreciated.

Candid normally it takes about a week for the CR-1 to get forwarded to the embassy from NVC and about 4 days transit time. You can find out the date of transfer from the NVC number and then judge it from there.

You can reschedule your k3 interview or you can cancel it.

Mine was canceled supposed to be my interview is today for k3 hehehehe

You can cancel the K3 since your CR-1 is complete already. It is up to you.

Candid, I would contact USEM to see if they have received your CR-1 case, once its at USEM, you can ask them if they will issue a CR-1 visa on the date of your K-3 interview. That is the only "flip" that you can do.
