We applied for AOS in November of 2008. A few weeks after we submitted the applications we received a biometrics appointment. We have since received the EAD and AP. We were notified that our case had been transferred to CSC. Yesterday we received a second biometrics appointment. Is this typical before the CGC is issued? Thanks

Is it for the same date?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I have two separate biometrics schedule, one for AOS and one for EAD. I could have taken it in one day together as what the biometrics personnel told me if I had showed it to them.
