So I received my interview letter but I'm not sure what else I need to bring to the interview other than my checklist. I thought receiving Packet IV consist of a bunch of papers but I only had 1 stating when my interview is.

I thought you had to bring $130 for K3 visa?

Do i need to bring evidences proving my marriage?

Any other docs I need?

I could very much be wrong (most likely) as I did not go to vancouver, but I thought I read on here that ones going through Vancouver had to deposit their $$$$ into a bank (scotia bank??) and they gave u a receipt, which u gave to the consulate as proof of payment. I'm sure others will pipe up!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Yes, in Vancouver you have to deposit your $131 US fee into their bank account at Scotiabank.

I believe in the checklist you receive from the Embassy it gives you a link to print off Deposit Slips for the fee.

Nope. No other surprise fees! As for documents, we brought absolutely everything we had! At the interview they give you a list of documents that they want to see as well as what order to put them in. I do believe that there's a scan of that list somewhere here on the website, if you go to the instructions for the K3 visa.
