hi,

I just called USEM call center to try and set my interview schedule. she told me that the case has just been uploaded on their system last March 16th but but unfortunately, my case is still not eligible to be scheduled for an interview yet. :crying: was just wondering why and when can I schedule my appointment. She said to wait until I recieve a notice of instructions. I really dont want to wait for the notice because i understand how long the post office here in manila takes. thats why i choose to call instead.

Does anyone knows how long do I have to wait from my case to be uploaded to the time I can set my interview date?

Usually, you can schedule an appointment 2 weeks after the your case has been forwarded to Manila USM. It's nothing to worry about.

Good luck!

It does not matter what day you call them...they always tell you to call back in two weeks because that is what is says on their script. Call them every day until you get your interview appointment. Whatever you do, don't wait for the USEM to send you a letter. If my fiancée had waited for their letter, she would still be sitting in Bacolod instead of here in my arms.

Good luck with your interview...we hope you have a PINK day!

HI there..glad to meet you here... You know those people who are supposed to be doing their job should never go bitchin' around callers especially filipinos..They would never even get paid more for doing that, for all i know... After all, they will be the one to carry all the loads of stacked applications if they keep on doing it. Sigh. Anyways, I'm from bacolod too, but im staying here in Cavite...Nothing, im just glad to know i have a kababayan who is now in bliss (obviously)...and i cant wait for mine to happen soon too.

Well, i wonder how you smooch those a**holes to give you the schedule starightaway? (sorry 4 that word) Or what was your opening spiel?

Thanks in advance if you could spare sometime to reply. God Bless Us All!

Greetings from Seattle ja.da...

I noticed on your timeline that you are ready to schedule an interview. If your fiance is tired of hearing the same old script from the USEM call center, he might try the same thing that we did. Have him call the visa section of the USEM directly and talk to Grace or Lorraine. They are very helpful, and they will give you the whole story. They can arrange an interview appointment for you also. Calling from the U.S., dial 011-63-2-301-2000 extension 5184 or extension 5185. They say that the best time to call this busy number is from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (Manila time). It worked for us.

My fiancée was born and raised in Villamonte. She is very happy to be here in Seattle instead of still waiting there for the USEM's letter (which never arrived). What part of Bacolod do you live in? Are you Ilongga?

Our best wishes to you for a pink interview and a speedy visa!

I was a call center agent too and sure do we have scripts to follow but I agree that USM call center agents are of no help cos I had bad experience with them too, but infairness to them I was able to set an Interview date with them and that was the only help they did for me. I also didn't wait for the USM letter but it arrived on the day that I called and set my interview.

You really dont have to wait for the letter cos it may or may not come. You can just give a little allowance for the USM to sort out your applications cos maybe they just received your case and truly still uploading it on their database. Or else if you hurry up and set an interview even if your case was not put into place yet, you may end up in more delay. But you dont really need to wait that long, just a few days wont hurt. :D

Whew! had my first day of medical today..It allw ent smoothly and it only took me like 3 hours of waiting for my physical (since there was only one damn doctor to do the physical) but its okay..atleast i didnt have to wake up as early as 3 am as what one of the VJ'ers here told me..too bad she had experienced that (but we never know, just assuming)... I went in the SLEC at exactly 12:00 noon..until exactly 6 pm. Im gonna have the result tomorrow.

Just want to share it to all of you guys. God Bless to our Journey for love.
