hiya !!!

so i hope im not the only one , but i actually do check my status online everyday...

i am wondering up to what time during the day can they still update it. i mean im sure their office close early, but maybe it takes a few hours for the update to show?

also i am wondering if the vermont center is finnaly catching up a bit, from peoople personal experience of course.

iv read of some people getting approve in 2 months, but what about those who are still waiting after past 6 months? i guess i don t understand why some people get it so fast and some don t

xoxo

my status was updated once at 6:30p.m. EST and once at 6:00a.m. EST. it could be anytime. if you signed up for email alerts...you will get the email as soon as it's updated on the uscis site (some get the emails/ some don't...system glitch). regardless, i checked my status 10 times a day everyday until approved. it's all part of the insanity of this process. good luck :star:

If I could ask, please, stop checking every day. It only encourages them to confiscate more of our earnings to support their disfunctional system.

My wife has her green card and our case (I-129f) is still listed as "received and pending", so I would say it takes them maybe a year to update things.

We were approved in 58 days, but we live in Vermont and so get special treatment. :) Really there is no more explaining the wait times than the completely useless online case status system. The USCIS is most clearly not interested in updating operations to the 1980s. They do not operate by telephone and you will never get reliable information by calling. They do not work by online updates. You MAIL your petition and wait for a response bu MAIL. Anything else is not reliable and basically worthless.

In the meantime, go to the consulate website and download your packet 3 and get all that stuff ready, you may as well do that.

we got our NOA1 but like everybody we want to be ready for the interview when it will be time...

but even I check online on Montreal Consulate website I can't find it...

Sorry but we are new in this process and it's pretty confusing for us... :help:
