Hey everyone,

I read on shortcut guide as well as read somehwere in posts to write down NVC case # on top of all the documents you send. For original documents, use sticky notes. I am right now creating little sticky notes with Form #, Case #, Name, and DOB (tedious). I was wondering if all of you've done this. On what documents you wrote down NVC # vs. used sticky notes, etc. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Did you put labels on everything? Original or not? I don't have label maker (printer or the paper thus doing it manually.

Good idea to write case# but I have not mentioned anything on originals.

I hope they will not loss it.

Cover letter already has your NVC case #. Yes write on form too (upper left corner).

Thanks all of you....

We wrote our case # in pencil in the upper right hand corner of every page unless it was already noted on the form. On the original certificates for the DS-230 (birth, marriage, police) and tax transcripts for the I-864 we used post-it-notes. Our case was completed within 4 days!

We did it by hand and wrote the case # on upper right hand corner of every single page. even the form sheets. This is best in case a page falls out or gets misplaced at least you know it can find it's way back to your file.
