Hi All,

I am wondering if anybody could tell me where I can find a cheap Civil Surgeon to receive my required med exam?

The area is San Jose, Ca.

Thanks all!

I can tell you which ones NOT to go to! But then that wouldn't help you much :)

Be prepared to fork over $190 for the visit, $25 for the paperwork and any additional cost for blood tests, X-Rays, immunizations, etc...

For immunizations, I recommend you go to the County Health Dept. on Lenzen Ave.

For our AOS, I ended up using Dr. Arnold in Texas. If you need a medical exam, you have no choice but go local.

Thanks all!

We are going for my wifes green card I485.

She actually got her exam last year March 31'st. We just got our interview letter for end of April but am worried that her medical might be out of date.

Any advice on if we should get another exam. Along with backup Dr's (in case the one provided so far is busy) would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

If you applied for AOS and already have the interview date, why would you need a medical? If the USCIS had not been happy with your application - incl. medical records -, they would have sent you a RFE. Just relax.
