You don't have to be a "Christian" to believe in fate/destiny. Many religions/philosophies believe in those concepts.

If you look back from this moment in time to your past, it's obvious that only by taking each individual decision that we take, could we have arrived at this exact point. Any different decision would have resulted in a (slightly/greatly) different outcome. If you are currently extremely happy (a good thing, of course) you are going to look back and give thanks for making the choices that led you to where you are If you are unhappy, you will probably be wondering why you made certain choices that led you where you are. If you are spiritual you may choose to attribute some of the decision making process to an outside force.

The reality is of course, that arriving at this point is not inevitable from the outset, but it is inevitable from where you stand looking back.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

fate and destiny is karma

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
