HI all,

Just wanted to tell you about my entry into the US on the K1 and my POA experiance.

Came in through Chicago, gave over the yellow envilope to the lovely lady, she asked me Steves name, what he does, and asked Emily if i was her mom, which she said yes to, thank goodness, lol. They where all lovely at Chicago.

She said she would be sending the package to Oklahoma Immigraration Services and that all was good. She said please marry before 90 days and then file your AOS, and Welcome to the USA.

So now im here with my Steve after 9 months of doing the K1 visa. I cant believe this part is over and i wont have to leave Steve again:)

For all of you doing this please bear with it, its so worth it in the end.

Congratulations and glad you had a good welcome and that your bags finally arrived!

David arrived in August 2004 and I sometimes still catch myself thinking, "hey, he doesn't have to leave again!!!" So strange how those feelings still linger!

Anyway...welcome to the US and have a lovely wedding!
