I suppose they're trying to equate their own limited and quite idiotic imposingly view of homosexuality with bestiality one way or another in this thread. Because consensual sex between two consenting human adults is synonymous to them with a human doing bestial things with other vertebrates and/or invertebrates.

Goes to show you that perhaps we ought to be listening to these folks' interpretations of animal intelligence more so than actual scientists.

It's more about you imposing your ideas about morality or "whats right or wrong" on others.

Of course this is nothing new, while you insist others not use their morals to shape public policy... you do the exact same thing.

Danno seems to think that Liberals/Progressives etc etc lack the ability to draw lines in the sand as to what they consider acceptable.

Its a shame he thinks in terms of stereotypes - if he could get beyond them it might be possible to have an honest discussion.

As it is - he seems to have no problem assuming what I believe, so presumably I should continue to make crazy assumptions about what he believes.

It's really quite simple Danno. If you use your moral code to deny a subset of people basic rights, you are using your morality to create inequality. By allowing these people their basic rights, all that gets infringed are sensibilities. I know which I find most persuasive.

Really !!!!!! I used to work with a man from a certain European country who's first sexual encounter was with a pumpkin and a sheep.He used to brag about it too.No wonder he still lives in his mother's basement.

It seems clear enough that anyone who would rather have sex with another species has more than simply sexual urge issues. Is this really a common problem though? I have never known anyone who admitted to such a thing, ever and although it seems to crop up in the news from time to time, it seems more on the level of 'isn't this really odd behaviour' than the 'isn't this evidence that people are becoming less and less moral' society that some are attempting to advance.
