return flight does not matter, alot of people on K-1 buy round trip ticket because it's usually cheaper...

So we can keep the DECEMBER return date and there will be no questions about it at POE? When we get married in April the expiration date of the K-1 will not matter then correct? I think I understand this but it is a little confusing. Thank you very much

She is still in Russia. Will come to the US in time for marriage in April. Visa received in March and good until September. Is this correct?

After she is here, she can not leave the US until she gets AP or her 2 year Green Card. The visa she now has is good to come to the US within the 6 months. Once here she can not leave without proper documents.

I hope I understood your question. I think that once you are married, you need to apply for Adjustment of Status and Advanced Parole. The AP does not take that long to get. The 2 year GC is another story.

See the Guides above. Good luck on your journey.

Does the date of the return flight matter? My fiancee noticed the visa date is valid until Sept and return flight is December because we all wanted to visit family in December. We assumed his is ok. Is it ok?

It's not a problem - POE won't care.

Sure, you can keep the return date.

As long as you have the AP for travel, no issues that I can think of.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
