Hello VJ Members!

:help:

Our K1 Petition got approved last March 12 and the hard copy arrived in the mail last March 16.

I have bunches of questions

1) How long should we expect for the NVC to forward our papers to Manila USEM?

How can we tell if it is already forwarded or not?

2) What are the forms/papers my fiance should send to me for me to bring on the day of my interview?

3) What are the forms i need to be completed?

4) Where to pay the Visa Processing fee, BPI or Banco de Oro?

5) Birth Certificate- is the one i am going to request from NSO(Naga City) will suffice?

How many copies should i secure?

Do i need to specify the purpose of request as "for K1 VISA"? or "For Travel Abroad?

6) and also for the NBI Clearance - with a remark of No Derogatory record on file...is this ok?

purpose of request do i need to specify too?

7) i already have my GCC and that certificate from CFO, i asked for it last January 2008.

When i applied for passport i learned/read that it is required for K1 Visa applicants, so i did and went ahead

attended a seminar and secure that certificate from CFO and was instructed to come back once received a visa.

Do they expire?

B) That is all for now but there will be much much more questions next time again, lol. I am so glad to have buddies here to approach with regards of the petition and visa process, it is so draining and stressful but it worth it for

my fiance and our future together.

I hope you guys can help me with this, i just want to be really prepared for my interview, although it wont be anytime soon but i want to work with it slowly and be ready.

Thank you and have a good day!
