Hi,

Who has to nominate an agent - the beneficiary or the petitioner? Given that I have nominated the Petitioner, my husband, does he also have to send in a DS 3032?

Confused....

17-Mar-09 Emailed DS 3032 to NVC

28-Mar-09 Received DS3032 and AOS Bill via email

28-Mar-09 Paid AOS Bill online - Status = In Process

29-Mar-09 Emailed scanned DS3032 & posted via snail mail

30-Mar-09 Received email that DS3032 was received by NVC and that IV Bill will be sent

31-Mar-09 Paid IV Bill

31-Mar-09 AOS Bill Status = PAID !!!

06-Apr-09 Hubby posted DS230 and AOS priority and certified

Just the beneficiary has to fill out the DS-3203. You can nominate anyone you like (husband, yourself, lawyer...downstairs neighbour)

You did the right thing...

Golden rule: the forms names that start with DS-*** Concern the beneficiary

the forms names that start with I-*** Concern the Petitioner.... so you're (the beneficiary) the one who suppose to send the form DS-3032.... [you can send it via e.mail or you can FedEx it, it's best to do both]

The Next Step is Removing Conditions!
