do you know if the moroccan consulate gives visas the same day or is it delayed by weeks??

they can issue the next day in some cases, but usually includes ap in alot of cases more as the norm

They give them the next day. So INSHALLAH you will get yours.

any idea what it depends on

how they decided if they give it right away or later

Same day or next day is rare with Casa, though it has happened. Most -- not all -- beneficiaries go through some administrative processing/name checks after the interview and before the visa is issued. When my husband received his (2 years ago) the wait for Casa was an average of two weeks of administrative processing, based on what VJers were reporting, with some much longer and some not as long.

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

Yes, will depend if you have every document they ask for and if they put your SO in administrative processing, which i think is normal. We waited a little over 2 weeks, but some people less, and some people, unfortunately much, much longer.
