For anyone who is going or has gone through the K-1 Visa process...

Is it recommended that the USC (fiancee) attends the interview? My fiance is from Egypt & I plan to be there with him for the interview. Is this a good idea????? I really would like to know your opinions. THANKS for your help!

From what I have read it is definitely good if you can be there - sometimes the embassy will not let you in with him but he can let them know you are waiting outside - even if you cant go in with him still you will be giving him moral support and confidence which will show in the interview. My husband's interview is in less than 3 days and I really wish I could be there but it is impossible. :crying:

If you think it will help matters, then go with him.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Is everyone SURE she can't go in with him????? That seems really rotten.... I think before I bought a ticket to Egypt (unless I was planning to go anyway) I'd email the consultate and ask.....

If they told me that I could attend, AND I thought there was any chance they might question the relationship I think if I had the time and money I'd go....

What would happen to her application if she married him while she was there? Could it be changed to K3? Or would she have to start all over again??? Never thought of that before... we never had the chance to get married in Egypt, (time when the Consulate wouldn't give approvals)... but if we could have we would have....

IGHs: When's the last time you were there?
