Shipping via family luggage - any advice?

Hi,

My family is coming to visit for my wedding in a few weeks, and seeing as they're allowed two cases each I've asked them to bring my stuff over (much cheaper ;)). It's mostly books and clothes, with a few cd's and dvd's for good measure.

I know customs and immigration can be a little unfriendly at times. Are there any forms I can fill out and give to my family so they won't get hassled? Would a copy of my I-94 be enough to prove they're bringing it for me so they won't have to risk paying fees?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)
