Chances are he knows this bothers you. That's why he does it, he's blaming you for being in between him and all the affairs he would otherwise be having with Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba.

No matter how committed he seems -- you can even be married -- this is a clear signal that with you, he feels he's somehow settled for less than what he deserves. It might not be a qualitative judgment, either: Some men just hate the idea that they're off the market, even if they were gathering dust on the discount table when they were on the market. They have a restless urge for quantity.

Either way, though, he needs to grow up.

Spot on, but I don't want to grow up!

MY EXHUSBAND

He wants to have a threesome.

It means he's giving voice to a common male fantasy. He probably also wants a flying car, but that doesn't mean he really expects you to provide him one.

Unfortunately, the same male liars who once claimed to have slept with the high school head cheerleader are now claiming to have bedded two women at once. This causes the same gullible reaction in men, because when men imagine something like this, they want it to be true. The Internet also plays a part, beaming free mini-movies directly onto men's desktop; they start to believe that, if only they had a job as a pizza delivery boy, they too could be having sex with pairs of lingerie-clad women every day.

Unless your man is insistent, this one is pretty harmless. Men love the idea that they are so overwhelmingly masculine that they require two women to serve their sexual appetites. What he's probably not doing is picturing that the other person in the threesome might be a guy. Suggest that to him, and you'll bring his flying car crashing back to earth.

I think there's a lot of truth to that, but overall, IMO, both men and women lack creative imaginations....so we settle for other people's ideas of 'fun' in the bedroom. The threesome fantasy seems so over-emphasized and given so much attention, that to me, just the fantasy alone is boring and unimaginative.
