Nominating Rep

Once the I-130 is approved, you (Beneficiary)are then sent out a form asking if you want to nominate someone as a representative are you not ?

Would it make sense to Nominate someone in the US, so that the paperwork can go back and forth faster ?,. rather than it having to be sent to the UK each time...

My wife actually lives with me in the UK and has LLR. Could we send the forms to her parents (in the US) to post when our I-130 is approved ?.

Dont you need to send the actual forms back ?,. or can you just print them out ?..

What are the next forms that they will require from us.(Both the sponsor and Beneficiary)?

Yes, you can. You need to appoint your in-laws as your choice of agent (DS 3032 form).

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Have a read of the NVC Flowchart for the various bills/forms and stages.

The DS-3032 (choice of agent) can be emailed to NVC instead of mailing it. All you need to do is wait for it to be generated. You know this by calling the NVC automate service line. Have a read of the NVC Timesavers & James Shortcuts...the link is in my signature.
