I must admit, my case is unnaturally slow. So slow, I had to stop coming here because it was depressing me too much to compare dates with others. I received my NOA in november, my biometrics was at the end of January, and my interview date is set for May! I haven't received anything yet for the EAD.

This delay is overwhelming, and frightening. People tell me to simply wait and not stress out over it. But it's easier said than done. Every morning I wake up thinking about the mail, and hoping "today will be the day" something positive will come in. Are others out here experiencing the same long delays as I am?

Same as me i can say that my case is unnaturally slow..i filled it october 2008 and got my EAD dec 2008 too, i had my interview last jan 22, 2009 but untill now i never got any mail from them..very stressful for me, i want to pursue schooling and get financial aid but i cant do it bec i need my greencard..it really sucks..

we need to pray and be patience, thats all we can do at the moment..

Just a friendly advice, if your AOS interview is just around the corner, I'd rather focus my energy preparing for this one (ie. make sure that all the documents they need are available for the IO to see). If you passed the interview, you don't need your EAD anymore as you will soon receive your Green Card in a matter of 2-3 weeks. Don't be dismayed, better days are yet to come. :)

I know it is hard waiting but you are not alone. I also find myself not coming here often for the same reason.

We filed in October, received EAD and AP in January and nothing since. No green card, no interview date, no updates of any kind other than a letter a few days ago saying it is being reviewed by an immigration officer.

Hang in there you are one step further along than us.
