Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yes sure, im at the embassy at 6am and the guard started asking for the appointment letter and ID before they let u enter the bldg. And ohh dont bring cellphones coz they really dont have a place to keep that and there are by standers outside who asked u if u want them to keep ur phone. I dont have a choice but give it to them and they will give u number to claim ur cp. Then they will check on ur forms if u fill that up completely then they will ask u to fall in line and get for ur number. Ur going to use that number the whole time. Then ur name will be called for the finger scanning then wait again for ur number to flash on the board for the pre-screening of ur docs. Then wait again for the final interview with the consul. AHH im so nervous while im waiting. THis is it!!! Then i seen my number flashing at window 30. The CO is nice she didnt even look at my co sponsors attachment and said eveything is good and just wait fr ur name to be called at window 38 or 37. then pay Air 21 for visa delivery. :whistle::thumbs:
