What is tagged.com? Is that exclusive for dating or is it like a myspace or something? If it's mostly for dating...hells yeah I'd be pissed.

Not just for dating...keeping in touch w/ friends etc. But like myspace, facebook etc...strangers can add you if you have no controls/privacy and it can become like a dating site if you allow it.

Morning all

Olivia - flowers down here have already started to bloom.

* * * * * Question to everyone.

If you found out your SO was on the net like tagged.com

and they were talking other people how would you feel and what would you do?

I would be curious and upset. Allow him time to explain his side. If he has himself as single, etc.... ask him what email he has his alerts going to (in case there is another email) and ask him to delete it. If not, I think you have to trust him but ask for respect depending on who he is adding. Also ask why he never told me about the site if this is the case...so many scenarios because we don't know all the details. Sometimes people that are home w/ no work (not sure if this is the case) are bored out of their minds and use these sites as outlets to chat and make new friends. I'm not defending the person just making a point...

Don't jump to conclusions till you have all the facts...(F):luv:

Hello everyone! In Iran the first day of spring is called "Norooz" which means new day, but for them it's their new year. It's a big celebration. So happy spring and happy norooz to everyone. :-)

In college, I always welcomed spring/norooz with goldfish crackers. Gotta go russle some of them up.

It snowed here this morning, but gosh darn it, it's spring, huzzah!

Big fan of goldfish crackers here! Though I don't eat them often I always love them.

I checked out tagged.com and mah gawd it looks like a spam site with all those jiggly ads that want you to click here. I wouldn't join that site for nothing.

I forgot about goldfish crackers! :-D Great idea.

As for the social networking sites - as long as it's not a dating site, I wouldn't worry about it. If I find out my hubby is on a site I'm not on (we're very social online), I make a profile and then add him as my friend!! LOL. He can't get away from me. :-P If I see ANY flirting going on, well then I will make him delete the person and/or his profile. We are both jealous with each other, so it's a mutual thing. He's OK with me doing the same thing as long as there is no flirting going on and he approves of my friends. We both reserve the right to say delete that person from your friend's list! But either way, don't be afraid to confront him about it, just don't do it in an accusing way, but in a curious way. He might actually like the fact that you care enough to say something. :-)

sweetpeach what is he doing during the day? Has he gotten a job yet? Maybe he's just bored and looking online all the time. Although my husband never really spends much time online he does spend a lot of time playing solitaire but now that he's working and going to school I rarely see him doing much at all on the computer. Maybe he just needs a hobbie. I would definitely ask him about it though. I'm big on open communication and so far that's been a blessing for us both. I used to be the meek wife who wouldn't say boo in my first marriage. I'm too old for that #######. I say what I feel and question what I'm confused about and that's that.

Annie I'm not sure what's going on but if it's about your dad then I totally understand the need to be alone. I know those days are coming for me soon, though my parents are doing pretty well so far (they're going to be 79 and 77 this July). Take care of you and pamper yourself and know that you always have a place to go for hugs. ((((Annie)))) (F)

Has anyone read A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry? I'm loving this book and I postponed reading it because I thought it would be super boring. I hate that it's an Oprah Book Club book 'cause that's so not how I got the name of it but still it's very interesting. I knew there have always been class issues in India but I had no idea to what extent they'd go to. If an upper class caught a lower class even listening to the upper class prayers they would pour tar in their ears. I used to hang out with a group of people in college and one guy, Tino, was from India. I can remember asking him why there are sooooo many poor people there who are starving to death while people like him are able to fly to the US and attend college and he said, no joke, "they're not really people". I hated him after that and viewed the country very differently thereafter. The author is awesome too so I definitely will be reading more.
