Hello VJ members,

I wonder if you could help us...we are confuse....we got approval for I-130 and 129F still pending with USCIS it was approved sooner than we expect. Now, if we go for I-130, what will happen to my I-129F application? can we just let it cancel without informing the USCIS and proceed with I-130? Help us figure it out....Thank you very much.

Just let it keep active and do the I-130 process. You'll probably get a K3 interview first. You can deal with it then. Some people reschedule at USEM and wait for the I-130. Use "Ling Che NVC shortcuts" for the I-130 and it will speed things up at NVC.

Smart move going with the CR-1!!! Wish we had!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

main thing with speeding up the I-130 is as soon as you get the NVC case number for the 130 send the email version of the DS3032 form to NVC( found on the wiki here) this will allow the beneficiary side pf the process to really speed up. About a week after you send it you should get an email back with it being accepted. That will generate the IV bill then it's fast from there. Download the DS230 and I864 packages from the website now and stat gathering all the documents needed. Once both bills (AOS & IV bills ) appear online pay them asap. The key to getting thru NVC fast is stay ahead of the game. Good Luck and hope you have a fast NVC journey.
