President Obama Makes Fun of Retards on Leno

With all that is going on what the heck is he doing making an appearance on Jay Leno? That time could have been used to try to solve the mess we're in.

We finally have a president who can walk and chew gum at the same time thus now he is being critized that he is doing too much!! Yes I know...its hard to get used to! His appearing on Jay Leno in no way kept the economy from recovering any sooner than it will! Geeezzzeee

I don't think I'd classify an appearance on Leno as "doing too much". I just think that it makes our country look weak for a President to appear on such a show. When my husband saw it he laughed hysterically and kept going on about how unbelievable this country is. That's someone who's been here for almost a year...what do the people who have never been here have to say about it in other parts of the world? Was it a good intention to try to tap the people who would normally not watch his news conferences? Sure, but maybe a commercial type statement on mtv or nickelodian or something would be a better move. One with a script so he doesn't screw up.

And for what it's worth I voted for the guy and I still do think that he's a very intelligent human being but maybe that's why I am also holding him to a higher standard. So sue me. lol

My daughter LOVES bowling at the Special Olympics... has been doing it for months, every single Friday with out fail. Uses bumpers and just tosses the ball down there, bing, bing, bumper to bumper. Funniest thing is she gets at least a few spares and even the occasional strike nearly every week Even manages to beat me some games :D

We are not offended by O'bama's remark. Too many people are far too sensitive these days!

Seems to me the people most outraged but 'issues' such as this are those out to supposedly protect the dignities of people they don't even know. Like my daughter and I. We don't need, want nor appreciate their help.

The President of the US should not be a guest on Leno. It has a very strong whiff of dog blanket about it and you would think Obama's advisors would have more sense than to think this was a good idea. What were they trying to prove? This guy needs to take his office seriously, buckle down, and at least look like he is making an effort to contain the f-up that is this country right now.

FWIW, I agree that Obama's "special olympics" comment was not intended to offend or cause distress. Most, if not all of us, have said something similar at one time or another. The issue here is Obama's lack of ability in preventing thoughts becoming words. That will bite him in the ####### at some point.

That's a pretty common phrase...somebody almost always says it when they playing a sport poorly....but then again, we also say things like, "that was gay." It'll be interesting to see if those who have disdain for being too PC, will be suddenly outraged by Obama's offhand comment.
