Would anyone happen to know if the subject of the FBI background check can obtain a copy of it, and, if so, how? The reason that I ask is that my wife, who just recently got her green card, has apllied for a teaching position and part of the process, which can really delay hiring, is an FBI background check. I thought I might be able to speed the process along if I could get a copy of an already-existing FBI background check. Thanks!

You can do an FOIA request with the FBI, but you are only going to get the information that is available at the FBI and not the full background check that was conducted for the AOS process.

It takes a while, so I doubt it will speed anything up.
