lets start new thread for K1 visa filer those who waiting for NVC clearence.......I am waiting for NVC to send our file ..to my fiancee USA Embassy....here is our K-1 visa time line any body waiting....for NVC....below is our K1 visa timeline.

NOA2 : approval notice received in e-mail on 3/5/09

NOA2 : Hardcopy received on 3/12/09

as of today 3/19/09 waiting for NVC case #.......

Considering the length of an average NVC wait, as well as the information provided in this thread, I honestly see no reason why a new one should be started. A lot of work has been put into providing information as accurate as possible in this old thread.

However, it's up to the readers to decide.

I-129F Sent: Aug 20th 2008

Interview Date: April 8th 2009, 10:30 - APPROVED!

K-1 Visa Received: April 9th 2009

POE: Aug 8th 2009, Minneapolis

Wedding: Aug 28th 2009

Our I-129f was approved in 107 days from our NOA1 date.

Our I-129f was approved in 114 days from our filing date.

Our case spent 52 days being chewed by NVC.

Our interview took 224 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Have another look. That thread was started by k1 filers and the majority of posts there are by k1 filers, waiting for clearance. There is a lot of good info there we don't need to duplicate. There are other filers there, for other types, and we welcome their input. We are all waiting, no matter what Visa type.
