NVC wasn't that slow in our case, but now they use our case to assess the agent's work. As if our case was that difficult...

At least it's nice to know that they have some sort of quality management :jest:

I think I need a beer...

LOL @ As if our case was that difficult

Maybe the agent is newbie and they started him with as-simple-as-it-gets case ;) Joke apart, I hope you they get things going soon for you...

That's my theory!!!!! But, please, reviewing a newbie during scheduling week and telling us lies about our case being forwarded to the consulate, that was the biggest joke I've ever heard :bonk:

I am filling out DS-230 now for my hubby....he's got cold so I'll be nice to him this time. Question for you guys... On the forms, my primary issue is, providing address to different things (schools, residents, etc). All these addresses are 2-3 lines long. Should point the answer to entire question on separate sheet of paper or fill out as much as I can fit on application and rest on separate sheet (ex, most recent address on application and next 2 addresses on separate sheet)? What a pain in neck!!!!

Also, what am I suppose to put on application when I want them to look at attached sheet?

I know exacltly what you mean, I did the "See attached paper" thing. Its much neater then squeezing it all on the small line. I hpe they accept it. To me neater is better then messy and running all together. Your such a good wife!!!

Write neatly. SEE ATTACHED SHEET. on the form. And on the attached sheet, make sure on top of it, your write the from number, and the number you are addressing on the sheet. Understand?? Sign it and date it BEFORE YOU SEND IT IN.

He'll need to sign it? I'll put date manually after I get it from him I guess.

I am assuming # and subject is like "20. List below all places you have lived for at least six months since reaching the age of 16, including places in your country of nationality. Begin with your present residence." right?

Yep DS-230. By the way, there is a question "In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States?". My husband is a software engineer. Should I put Information Technology or N/A. He'll work whatever as long as it is software engineering related and pays. Also, what is the difference between Course of Study and Degree or Diploma? What do we put for high schools in these two columns?

UGH! the form is asking for all educational institutions he attended. You may have to do the See attached paper thing again. But i would like from high school to college to business schools etc. Course of study is what your studing, such as English, chemistry or what ever.

Degrees is asking what field was degree in and same for diplomas.

For occupatation, I would put Software engineering, and that is it.

On second thought do all schools he attended. be on safe side.
