hi guys,

i came here on h-1b n married to usc in march 2008. It took time to know the procedure to apply for AOS.

atlast i have submitted my AOS along with I-765, I-131 on march 5th 2009 to chicago lockbox vich was delivered on 6th march 2009.

I have received NOA1 for I-130,I-485,I-765 and I-131 on 12th march from california service center.

my name on I-485,I-765 and I-131 is complete with middle name, whereas on I-130 only first name and last name are mentioned.

1. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM and my receipt numbers start with MSC.........

2. my wife will be losing her job on april 15th....will that be a problem if she is unemployed while my AOS is under processing....

I tried to call the uscis number 1-800-375-5283 but when i enter the receipt number i get a message that case is not entered yet.

Should not be, you may want to call the number on the NOA1 to check.

2. my wife will be losing her job on april 15th....will that be a problem if she is unemployed while my AOS is under processing....

Not during the processing, since you gave her "current" income at the time of submission, however, if you get interviewed, they may request income proof. Suggest to find a new job asap.

I tried to call the uscis number 1-800-375-5283 but when i enter the receipt number i get a message that case is not entered yet.

Talk to an operator.

please reply......

Thanks in advance

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
