Hello,

I have some questions. I received an e- mail coming from the NVC with an intructions on how to download the form DS 230. Now my questions are what is the use of a DS 230? After submitting the form DS 230 what is the next step? Am I almost done with all these paper works and stuff?

Thank you and God bless ;):star:

If you are going with a K3 you don't need a DS 230 in the Philippines for a nonimmigrant visa. It's only for the CR-1 and is sent to NVC when processing the I-130.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Oh?so you should get the IR-1 visa instead of K3.

It is much better.

When you send the DS-230 take note dont sign the part II only the part I and send the ff:

secured paper of marriage license, authenticated birth certificate,

visa photo, nbi clearance, :) Am I missing something pls let her know.

Good Luck :D

Thank really. Thank u very much for the help. We've been working on this paper for almost three years now. Well its kind of my fault in a way. But anyways, now im ready to go to the US. Its just weird cause when we just started filing for an immigrant visa way back may of 2006 we use the K3 and now we end up with a DS 230 which in the long run they said would saves more money in the future. But i dont about the saving money thing cause we've been working on this thing. hahaha... we like it here in the philippines though. Thank you to all you guys that helped me understand these things. One more thing do i have to send all those papers together with the DS 230? Thanks ;)

God bless :)
