I'm with ya on that one annie. I appreciate each and every one of you, your advices and concern. If that is being clique-ish...then so be it.

I have held your babies, I have eaten dinner at your tables. I have flown across the country for a hug when I was was dissolved into tears. Never have I thought of ya'll as a clique. I'm proud to call you 'friends'.

Clique, what did i miss again? Geez:(

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Ok why is everyone getting bent out of shape over a newbie *assuming* there are cliques in the forum? She's new and yeah on first glance it is cliqueish. Instead of behaving cliqueish by ganging up and making comments, ignore the comment and be more welcoming. Just a thought.

The girl with the Syrian S/O...I don't remember her screen name. She has a thread re: Syria. That's where she made mention of the dreaded "clique".

However, if you want to be part of our MENA clique you must do the following:

1) Thread your entire body (OMG its so painful but you have to prove your loyalty to our clique) :P

2) Change all your "American" music in for MENA music in your car, on your ipod and in your home.

3) Get Arabic satellite TV (the supreme package!)

4) Cook only MENA food (anything else...YOU'RE OUT!)

5) Where shib shib every where you go.

6) Know EVERYTHING about MENA or again you're OUT!

7) Use phrases like "hamdulillah" "shukran" "insha'allah" "masha'allah" and other sayings in appropriate situations or again YOU'RE OUT!

Above all else...do not show your American side.... :devil::rofl:
