Just curious if I already have translated documents, they are stamped "Certified Correct Translation" and signed by the person who translated the documents, will this be good enough to get through to NVC? If not, what else is it I need to do to make sure they are good to go? It's the same translated documents I used at VSC. Just curious, thanks in advance!

Do I need to get it notarized even if I have the originals?

jurod16

yes you do

notarizing is the way that you tell the NVC that this translation is identical to the original document ..all your translations must be sent with their prospective documents and all must be translated

GOOD LUCK

You do not need to notorize them. A notory doesnt acknowledge the content of any document;only that the signature on them is that of the signer. The documents you have are fine. The stipulation is that they be certified transaltions only.

And to add, a Certified translator will stamp those docs to show translations done by a CERTIFIED Translator. Make sure who ever you get to translate is a Certified Translator.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Ours have the same certification as you do, jurod16. In addition, they are certified by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and by the US Embassy. No RFE on it so far. Our RFE is different, and since they already have all our docs, I don't think there are any problems with the trans. Good luck!
