Was an old joke about Ivan crossing the border for years having his wheel barrel checked by customs, never could find anything in it. One day the customs guard asked Ivan, I know you are smuggling something, could never find it, I won't report you, but I know you are smuggling something, since I am retiring, please tell me what it is. Ivan, after knowing this same guard for years developing some kind of friendship with him, replied, wheel barrels.

When I first learned about all the BS I had to go through to bring my wife to be here, I read that the US Coast Guard was picking up Cubans in rafts and giving them PRS. Was tempted to put my wife to be on a raft in ragged clothes a couple of miles offshore and give an anonymous call to the coast guard to do the same thing.

Don't hide, do the obvious, LOL. Could have coated her with wax with a couple of other real wax figures in the back of a pickup truck also to cross the border.

While we teased about such methods, we went the long legal hard way, that brings about a question. Why does the legal way, have to be so long and hard? We just wanted to be together.
