Hello Vjers,

I am waiting on my NOA2, and was trying to start getting together documents and papers for the I-134.

I know that if I have a co-sponsor for the affidavit of support for the I-134, that we each need to fill out our own separate forms. I am wondering though about how our income will be determined. If my sister is a co-sponsor for the affidavit; will it be our incomes combined to show 125% above the poverty level? As it is now, she is married with a baby. Bother her and her husband work and I am independent but living under my father and step-mothers roof. (They are not able to do the affidavit due to my fathers work.) I have a job also, but I work at a grocery store currently and do not make the 125% above on my own.

You do not combine income, one or the other needs to be able to show being able to support prospective immigrant at 125% povertyline.

What the consulate is doing is picking the larger of the 2 I-134 forms.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
