I'm very worried for this country, and totally perplexed by short-sighted liberals who can't see the forest for the trees. I feel like we're living on Krypton just before it blows.

Yes, you must be living in fear all the time. I feel sorry for you.

 I do feel sorry for her/him it. Imagine going thru life with that outlook? Sad.

Un-American?

So is giving 300,000 stimulus jobs to illegal aliens. So why do Pelosi, Reid, and Obama favor giving taxpayer funded jobs to illegal aliens while the US unemployment rate closes in on 10%.

Sounds like these creeps are anti-American to me.

I can say it for a fact that every single person I see working on our community or any construction project is of Hispanic origin. Even the dam Verizon FIOS roll-out going on in the area has Hispanics doing the work. Work that could and should be offered to Americans first. Before anyone gets their panties in a twist yes they are Hispanic. Heck I even have photos of Hispanics doing the gardening inside Arlington cemetery out all all places. Now if that is not a disgrace I don't know what is. Or are no Americans willing to do this either. Utter Rubbish! You have Americans living in tents. Something both my friends and family in Australia and the UK saw that and where like #######.

Fact is the United states has no visa's allowing blue collar workers to work here legally. Excluding marriage based visa's the majority of working Visas are for professionals who must hold college degrees. So there is no other avenue of entry apart from being illegal.

PS Natives of the following countries were not eligible to participate in lottery visa: Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico. So rules that avenue out too.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

And your right. But maybe you can tell me which visa they would have used to come in on. Plus what is the chance that apart from the supervisor every single one of them was Hispanic. In various locations on various jobs that is. I can think of a lot of Americans that are not willing to work in a cable roll-out or building / landscaping a new house.

If people in this country don't see the problem with allowing any illegal immigrants to earn money while Americans are living in tents, well then, you guys are doomed for failure and will turn into a fellow South American nation. Where the rich are rich and the poor are dirt poor. With no middle class.

The Australian Prime Minister just announced this week an immigration cut to protect Australian jobs and Australian workers. There's the difference. And they are socialist capitalist.

Marilyn I wasn't born yesterday. Born here but don't speak a word of English. If what you are saying is the case, people should have no problem mandating that every business using ballout money must use e-verify to validate the work status of all their employees.

oh so now you are saying you talked to each and every worker you saw and found out they don't speak English ...lol

there are people who live here legally who don't speak much or any English.. it isn't that far fetched... I know a few people like that even..

yes some of those workers probably are illegal.. but you can't just see an Hispanic person mowing the lawn and automatically assume he is an illegal....

my in-laws are originally from Mexico and they live here legally. as matter of fact my FIL recently became a citizen after being a permanent resident for many years...

Your right. E-verify should fix all of this. Plus a $20K on the spot fine, per incident, for any employer caught using illegal immigrants. That way there is no issue for those here legally. The onus will be on the employer.

I was lying, I don't feel anything for you. I find you hilarious though, this constant effort to demonize one side of the political spectrum. Oh no, the libruls are coming, hide!

I was lying, too. I don't even think you're real, but you are uninteresting.

Oh dear VW, what a mess that post is. English is your first language, isn't it?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I am sick of the Illegals coming to USA and setting up house and living here and working here.

Here is a easy solution:

Castrate all Illegals Males

Illegal Females over 18 should be put into legal prostition houses and made to work for a few years.

What if we just offered any existing immigrant-legal or illegal- citizenship if they volunteered to have their tubes tied or get vascectomies?

Does anybody watch Homeland Security? This guy tried to cross the border with no documents at all, not even a single type of ID, when he was stopped by Immigration Officers he said he was a US citizen but his English was worst than a 2 years old, after a background check turned out the he was in fact a US citizen. He did not speak English. So there is US citizens that do not speak English and it does not mean that they are illegal immigrants. Assuming that all Hispanics are illegals immigrants is like assuming that people from Arabic countries are terrorists. Isn't that stupid?!
