Hi folks,

I am about some few days (45 days) away to close the chapter on removing conditions. But I have a problem now. I have got two affidavits from my former principal and teacher colleague and now waiting for one from my mother-in-law (she is sweet) and another friend. They live in another state and am afraid it looks like things are delaying. Find below what I have gathered so far and advise if I can go ahead and send the documents without waiting on these two.

1. Joint tax returns and transcripts,2007 and 2008

2.Letters in both and individual names in all addresses that we have lived since AOS

3.Joint account statements

4.Affidavit of support-2

5.Some Bills in my wife's name and others in my name

6.Copies of credit card accounts in both names as well as some in individual names

7.Letter of Introduction from our banker to confirm we hold joint accounts and a statement indicating when my wife started saving with the bank and also when I joined

8.Few pictures with some family relations and friends

9.Newspaper articles qouting us as husband and wife

10.Lease agreement in both names

11. Letter from wife to petition on my behalf + the required fees($465 + $80 biometric fees = $545)

What do u think? I need help!

What about joint health insurance, boarding passes from trips that you have taken together, memberships and subscriptions? Is your car in both of your names? Are you each other's beneficiaries as far as life insurance and retirement plans are concerned?

These are just some additional ideas. Your list looks good. Good luck!

Hi,

Thanx for ur response. Yes, we have our car in both names, car and life insurance in both names, sports membership in both names. Have no health insurance since am in school and quite costly to add me on hers in terms of the monthly premium to be paid. We have made one trip together and that was submitted when I was applying for the AOS.No retirement plans yet.

I appreciate your input and thanx again.
