Need help..documents after NOA2

Hi guys. now that the time is here I blanked on what to do (the petitioner). I know I need the affidavit of support, noa2, letter of intent, proof of ongoing relationship, etc. If anyone can help...sorry for the trouble. I'm confused about a few things.

Do I go to the bank and ask for something? Do I need bank statements?

Do i need tax transcripts? Does that mean paycheck stubs or past tax forms? how do i get them?

Items of value? Only things i have of value really are my car and engagement ring...do i need to send in the appraisal notices?

You will need an I-134 and a copy of the most recent year's tax return with corresponding W2s, or a copy of the tax transcript, either or is fine. It is recommended that you get copies of your tax info for the past 3 years, as well as copies of your most recent pay stubs and letter of employment.

My fiance has all his tax filing records from 2005 to 2008. In this case, is it requesting the tax transcripts necessary? Or that is the only way to do it? Thanks.

Hi Jenny we are confused too, we wait so long, that we forget the follow steps!! and our case is now in guatemala embassy, guess the date when NCV sending it????????? yes 03/11 , definitely we share the same old and dusty box.....

yes, i forgot it all...months ago i knew all the steps, now i'm clueless! Did you guys get packet 3 yet? Not us.

I called NVC and the lady told me 3/11, but when I called the automated service (the next day) they said they didnt have our case in their system. ???

Well the uscis site still says: "pending". "last update july 29, 2008." Crazy system!

hahahahaha!!! well who knows and both get married the same day!!! the automated service from NVC dont be able for k-1, you always have to talk whit a human , did you track your case in www.dhl.com? i did it and our case is received by guatemala embassy in 13-03, so in the next week i hope received via e-mail packet 4, in Guatemala there is not packet 3, so i think the things now are speedy!! about time!!! and the website is the same for us "case received and pending"

OMG you make me dizzy whit all these questions!!! easy easy take a deep breath , ok there is the step by step to track you case!! i'm pretty sure they got it...and you know what i bet they received on 13/03 hahahahahaha!!!

DHL. That is how your papers are shipped to the embassy. I kept a close on eye on it once we were at NVC.

You won't know for sure it's your case, and you won't know which tracking number is yours, but if you can see they are sending a package to the country you are interested in you can check with NVC to see if they still have it. Towards they end we rang a lot, but in the first while only if I saw a package headed here.

You should choose USA for the country if this comes up on your main page (where it is leaving from). After that, on the toolbar at the top, put your mouse over Track and a menu appears. You want track by reference.

For today, in the top box where it says reference I put :

EXP 12 JAN 2009A <---- this should be about one day before the NVC tells you it left.

Below in the "shipment pick up date range" put the day NVC told you it left as start and finish. Sometimes you have to play around a bit with the dates, but I've usually managed to find what works this way.

In both boxes today I put Jan 13 2009.

At the foot of the page you will see a little box marked track with a red arrow, click on that and a list should appear ...there were 3 pages today.

The only trouble I have relates to the day/date thing. I am a day ahead here in NZ, and always getting an error "The date cannot be in the future" Course it can...that's where I am tongue.gif

To find anything shipped on a Monday I put the same date, in my case Jan 12 in all three boxes and that worked to on their Monday, my Tuesday.

haha, ok, i got all confused by the January dates. Well, we got Pack 3, so i should have it sent off next month, i'm thinking interview date may be in June. That would be too much if we had same date! but i know you guys will have yours first. yay! we are getting closer!
