You won't need a joint-sponsor unless one is requested by RFE, or at interview.

Your sponsor was employed and met the requirements when they filled out the I-864.

Time to add AOS, EAD, AP to your timeline: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=44108 :time:

You can update profile from K-1 to AOS Pending.

I have similar question. My wife was employed till end of last year but then she lost her job. She has found temporary job now and is working currently.

Can she still sponsor me?

We already have a joint sponsor lined up but it would be great if we don't have to use one.

Thanks!!

As long as income is above 125% can solo sponsor. Many on "Temp" "Contract" jobs do.

thanks for your response. So this holds even if temp jobs are non-continuous (e.g 2 months followed by a gap and then another temp job)?

The evidence of financial support is usually the tax returns and a letter from the employer stating they are employed and there wage. If these together show that she meets the 125% requirement then you will have no need for a co-sponsor. Do yo uknow anyone who would be prepared to co-sponsor should you need it?
