hi,

Firstly congrats!

I just sent my N-400 on 2/26 and i am waiting for the biometricks.

I have one question to everyone so i can be prepared when the interview comes.

Do I have to go prepared bringing more proof at the interview? Is it the same as going for the green card interview with my spouse? Does he have to be with me on my interview?

Thank you

congrats! we are going thru k.c. too. we had our interview 3 weeks ago and are still waiting on the oath letter to arrive. perhaps my husband will take the oath with you.

congrats!

I just hope we wont have to wait months!!

Me too! its been almost a month already for us! we jsut want to get it done with!

I dont know if these dates are accurate, check them out! http://www.mow.uscourts.gov/natcerem.htm

Interesting dates. Thanks so much for the link. I found that intersting. Maybe our oath will be on April 10th in k.c. or better for us May 8 in Jefferson City as that is where we live. It would be much easier for us to be done locally but will take any day we can get! We will know more when we get our Oath Letter! Will keep you posted so you can compare!

I dont think your spouse is required to be there. I was surpriesed that they let my husband come in the interview room with me! In the interview letter it says bring the originals of the document you submitted and that's it but at the interview I was asked for additional proof of shared finances (I brought a recent bank statement and the tax return that we filed jointly 2weeks ago) but she didnt want to see any originals except for the baby birth certificate! If I were you I would bring additional proof just in case!

Lucky you. I took my Citizenship exam on last Tuesday 3.24.09. From the beginning everything was going ok, I passed the test but the officer wanted to see more supporting evidence for my marriage and scheduled me for 5.08.09 which is another month and half waiting to bring them those evidence. Furthermore i was ready to go with it on the next day rather than wait so long. Do you or anybody else have any clues how to speed up that time, I was waiting two months for the interview and do not want to wait any longer.

We recieved our oath ceremony letter today. It is going to be on May 8th in Jefferson City. Just as that link suggested. We was hoping for the april one, but offical word came today in the mail, May 8th. Which is better really for us as we do NOT have to travel for it.

Did you hear anything yet?
