Hi,

There is a chance that I will need to apply for a re-entry permit as my husband and I may be granted 1 year teaching positions in Japan sometime after I get my Green Card.

However, I can't seem to find an updated I-131 form. I've gone to the government site and their form is all messed up (ie. just a blank document really).

I've done a google search and can only find one from 2004.

Does anybody know where else I can search for a current form?

Also, have any other Canadians ever had the experience of re-entering the US with a re-entry permit?

Thanks!

Martine

I see nothing wrong with this one: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-131.pdf http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-131instr.pdf

Perhaps updating or installing the newest version of adobe reader will help.

Moving this to USCIS forum.

It must be my computer, because when I clink on your link all I get is a document full of blank boxes.

Very strange!

I've noticed my topic has been moved.

Anyone know to which forum specifically so I can check in with it?

Woops.

Just saw the move location.

Tried to fix it and edit it and started screwing the whole thing up.

Please disregard my last message.
