PLEASE HELP!!! Packet #3

We need help!!!!!! My fiance just received a "packet" which we thought was packet #3 from the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. This CANNOT be the packet that we had long been awaiting!!! It has NOTHING ELSE INSIDE OTHER THAN THIS LETTER. What should we do?? There was no telephone number included either in case we needed to contact them. God, I'm sooooooo frustrated with all this!!!! Everyone else always makes it sound so "easy". Well, it's honestly not. Please, I beg you... help us! We don't know what to do. This is all he received:

Our office is please to provide information about the requirements for obtaining a "K1" visa. We are enclosing a package of instructions to help you begin processing the required documents. When you have gathered all of the required items, send the documents and the original forms to the Embassy by DHL International Courier. Please pay return postage to DHL International Courier in advance.

If your documents are complete, you will receive a letter within ten (10) business days that provides an appointment date & time for your interview. Your appointment letter will be sent to you by DHL International Courier. If for any reason you are unable to attend this interview, you must advise us in writing, in advance. Failure to do so may mean a delay of several months before a visa interview may be rescheduled.

If your documents are incomplete, they will be returned to you with an explanation of what is missing. You may then resubmit your immigration visa application and documents through DHL International Courier.

Please follow these instructions and the instructions contained in the attached forms carefully. Failure to complete each form, to provide required signatures, or to provide necessary attachments, will delay the issuance of your visa.

first off calm down ,relax and take a deep breath .

they sent me the whole of the packet 3 the instructions and the paper work .

it seems like they just sent you the instructions of the packet 3 without the paper work its still ok

i didn't use any of the paper work they sent me cause they sent me kinda old forms to file them so i didn't use any of them.

i downloaded all the forms and i filed them and then sent them back to the embassy .

and i already got the interview letter today ( it will be on Thursday March , 26)

so you can do that my friend .

so even if they send him the forms he was not going to use them anyway LOL

there is no need to be sad or to freak out

i can scan and send you what they want him to send them back and the Dr address........

i guess its not a big deal i believe i read it before the same happen but not with pack#3 from embassy it was the final package which you take with you for the POE and it was empty so you can e-mail them ASAP and try to call and if you know what forms are required go ahead and download them and just call and get it confirmed from the embassy then send them off . am not there yet for this step just calm down and relax your nervous wont solve it ,and we all know and sure the most of the journey took long time to be done and the rest wont be like the past

not sure about your embassy or other countries embassies, but in our case (I kept in contact with other people from my country), we thought that "packet" meant "packet"... but in ALL the cases it was a page like yours and some other pages.. and the "packet" was contained in an ENVELOPE! (we figured out it is just the name the US gives to the paperwork, so it was really not a "package" as such)...

The other poster seems to have done things at your embassy and if things went okay with printing the forms, then i would say do so

Very good advice Mohammed! We did the same thing. The stuff they sent H was outdated, in fact wrong on certain things (like the cost of the Visa!) and since the forms need to be duplicated we used the online versions. The only part that was helpful was the name of the physician he needed to see. ALF MABROOK on your interview date!!!! Ma'sha'allah things are moving ahead quickly for you!

OP: If you send me a personal message with your email I can send you the entire content of our Packet #3 because I had H scan it and email it to me so I have it here on my computer.
