I hope you get to the bottom of it.

BTW - how did you find out where the phone number she called you from originated?

My question too... how does one know it is an abandoned apartment? Missing person's report and the Wayne County Sherrif's office checked it out?

Maybe he traced the number and he found out its an abandone apartment. But how can she get inside the apartment considering she just arrived US for the first time?

All airports are under tons of cameras - did you try to get in touch with someone from airport surveilance so you can see if she took off with someone else? You could ask police to look into this since you filed a missing person's report.

I would say you were scammed. It is not unheard of. Does she have any family or friends here? I am sure that you have already been asked that question!

According to him, she is very very intelligent. SO I guess she know what she is doing, she got plans while processing visa.....And as they talk over the telephone and she was upset, is it some kinda excuses? If she is a good person, why let someone worry for her if she is safe or not? Somehow, its the guys responsibility to take care of her but sad to say it didn't turn out well.......

Ring her family in the Philippines and find out what they know about her whereabouts. If they aren't woried, then I expect you have been scammed, if they ask you to help her find her, then something else is going on.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

i sure hope this is not a troll. i cant help to ask but why would ur first and only post be about a missing spouce? shouldnt u have been here before looking into visa info instead of just signing up trying to find out about a missing person?

if u r truely serious with ur post then i hope nothing has bad happened to her. it would be a blessing to be scammed at this point then to have had something worse happen to her.

She can't just marry someone else and stay; she can only adjust from a K-1 based on her marriage to you.

But I agree with rebeccajo. This smells a little bit funny (if it were a scam, why would she call?)

Agree.. Specially that ur name is in annotation of her visa. She may never thought about that if she just really used u. LOL, another story that can make all filipina look bad again.

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.

Hello friend,

Sorry for your situation, it is really hard, but think like this:

Is anything that you could do, to change?

No, she is gone.

After all

Do you still want her???

No, i hope

So keep on, and on, and HOPE, HOPE AND HOPE

that's is the key for sucesses....

YOU WILL FIND SOMEONE, THAT CAN BE YOUR PARTNER, DONT LOSE HOPE.

Yes, I heard about a case like yours, a few years ago.

The lady had a ex husband, and the ex was living in the states, and had no meaning to bring her and the kids,

she found another guy, got the papers and came to USA, at the airport she told the guy; she was going just check the house where the kids (4) and the father was. and THEN head to his apartment. ( not to worry about everything was fine )

NEVER, EVER MEET AGAIN....

GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE...SHE WAS NOT WORTH...

HOPE GOD PROTECT US ALL, AGAINST ALL EVIL.

a trace will give you a name... not that it was abandoned apartment... someone is paying the phone bill....

YMMV

You said you knew her very well, but you never mention visiting her. Always best to visit someone before you decide to get engaged to them. There is only so much you can know from a distance.

I hope it works out for you.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I have to agree with this. I would tell them that if she has used you, then you will accept that and merely move on, but if she is truly missing you need to pursue her. I hope that by asking in this manner, if she did use you, that they would at least tell you not to bother looking. At least you could have peace of mind to know that something horrible didn't happen. Hopefully they are good enough people to give you that.

It does sound like a reasonable step.
