But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I hope you get to the bottom of it.

BTW - how did you find out where the phone number she called you from originated?

My question too... how does one know it is an abandoned apartment? Missing person's report and the Wayne County Sherrif's office checked it out?

Maybe he traced the number and he found out its an abandone apartment. But how can she get inside the apartment considering she just arrived US for the first time?

a trace will give you a name... not that it was abandoned apartment... someone is paying the phone bill....

 I think this story is full of holes.

and the OP hasn't been back to fill them.

Or maybe he is busy figuring out if what he really gonna do about what happened that's why. Maybe he realize his not gonna sit all day infront of his computer and wait for another bullshit replies from some people here now. LOL :rofl::rofl:

You bring out a good point: Why are folks so quick to mock and laugh at someone facing a terribly disappointing situation and possibly foul play with more than one victim here. All the poor guy is looking for is some specific answers from a very knowledgeable community.

DONT HATE, CELEBRATE.

why on earth would u be worried about if u can apply for a k1 visa again in the future? i still fail to understand why people would go look for a foreign spouse on purpose. i would never do that. it's extremely difficult to engage in a relationship with someone from another country, it happened to me, i don't regret a second, but i'd never on purpose do that.

go to a bar, start dating, forget about her, move on.

Bars are not known as places to meet quality, responsible people. Why dont you just recommend he go to Manila and get a bar girl there? Do you understand bola bola bar girl? He should go where there are responsible honest people. Bars are near the bottom of the list for that. So itz ok to marry an alcoholic as well? Better stay single than with a needy, dishonest, immature, unfaithful, unappreciative person. Who told you bars are good places to meet a future spouse anyways?

I hear people saying why go to another country to find someone to marry? The fact is most people who find a spouse outside the states have had a bad experience in previous relationships here. However it is very risky going to a foreign country thinking that you will find a spouse that will submit to your every need because of gratitude of just being here in the US. One would think you would be even more careful if exploring this avenue. Not to know other family members, or any other contact information is just stupid as far as I am concerned. If closure is what one would want to move on then I suggest a trip to the Phils with a driver, and body guard to find Mom, Dad and find answers.

Me personally I went with fiancee to get the passport, I had a copy of her Birth Certificate with mom, and Dads name. I went to get the NBI. I met friends, Family, all coworkers, including 3 trips to the phils. I could have easily back traced with all the info I had from my wife. I suggest if there is a next time you do everything possible, and be smarter than this time.

Dude... not that Nessa can't speak for herself... but she wasn't talking about going to a bar in PI!!! And NO, she doesn't know about bola bola bar girl, because she's from BRAZIL!!!:wacko: She was saying to stay in his home town, and go to a "local" bar, to meet women. NOW, if you are going to say that all women who go to "bars" or local taverns are all "alcoholic"... best put your flak jacket on!

All they are saying is that bars are not the best place to meet people. Its an opinion, one I agree with. Some people do not feel comfortable approaching a woman in a bar. Unless they are wasted, in which case you won't be at your best anyway. No body that I know that is married or in a long term relationship met their other half in a bar, they met them while pursuing a hobby, being introduced by friends or at work. Hell, my parents met when my dad sold his car to my mother.

A good place to meet people is work, obviously. Another way is to take a hobby that involves gathering with like minded individuals.

Well said Mr. Fozzie! Can't disagree with you there!

I wasn't saying bars are the best place, but he took Nessa's comment out of context, that's all.

I wouldn't spend too much more time worrying. Sounds like you were scammed.

My suggestion to anyone going to Philippines to "Wife Shop" is don't get one over 25 years old.

If you do start over, maybe you should find a girl a little younger, Make sure she has some type of degree so she can come to USA and make you lot's of money, and I like girls from the provinces.

Stay out of the big cities like Manila and Cebu.

Lots of pretty girls in Mindanao Region

You are seriously a sad individual

I hate hearing these sad stories. When I met Leidys, I told her I wasn't up for anything serious. Just someone to take out for dinner and a movie. If things hadn't gone this far, I would have been dating someone who lives close by, not 3,400 mi. away.
