Too true...I was actually running with new minimum requirements they suggested after the patch and I would not have been happy going into the expansion like that.

Yeah I've been having issues with the new requirements too and my computer is a few years old. Oh well, I'm not going to put anymore money into a new computer at all just for this. I'll just deal with it.

I'm so glad I don't belong to some stupid guild that puts requirements on leveling up. Our guild is really laxed by that which is nice and they know people will get there in time, plus with the holidays coming up, they know people won't be on as much anyways. In WOTLK, our guild actually attempted to go backwards and continue running BT for some really stupid dumb reason. We beat it when we were 70's, why the hell still raid? The reason was to keep us together and unified in a raiding mentality while we got to 80. Funny thing is I think the GM made one attempt at setting up a BT group and that was it and then realized it was pointless.

As with leveling, my lock is my main, but since 4.0.1, I've been able to sub in my shadow priest for my temp main so I get to run ICC with the mains now on my alt. So now I don't know which one I'll level first...

i've been mia for a bit here...so lets see.

i got my kingslayer title..i've killed arthas a few times now, doing achievements for my drake..i need 1 more yay 11/12 heroic done justs need H lk for my new title..rawr!

for cata...i'm a lvl my paladin first. most of my guild are lore geeks. so i doubt we'll rush it..although i'm an alchemist and soooo want my new drake

what we did was create 5 man groups to lvl together and do herocis and have fun. all at the same time getting guild achievements along the way, and fridays we will PVP.

my pc was giving me issues so i formatted and reinstalled but i'm still getting freakign dc'd every time i alt tab or take a flight path..grrrr

and DBM went fubard with lua erros on my lk killl..AMG soo frustrating...i love getting yelled at by my guildies lol

hmm its not a requirement per se, but my guild wants certain ppl, to level their profs first..and for the gatherers to help them get all the recipes so we get them sooner rather than 4 ppl working at it same time, or on same recipes. in a way i get this..and in a way it annoys me cuz i wanna make my own stuff too.

and my tauren druid is going to be a worgen..come cata..

Kimbear, you will keep getting DC'd if flying and you tab out. Switch to Windowed - Fullscreen mode and this will get you around the DC issue. It happened to me as well before switching display modes; I think it's a common issue since 4.0.1.

I had never heard of the alchemy drake. I was debating changing my druids profession to alchemy, but farming all the mats just seemed prohibitively time consuming. I'm lazy too. But this will actually motivate me. I just need to figure out what alchemy spec now. Potion master sucks, It hardly procs.

I didn't raid very much this weekend. I did manage to get 25 man LK kill on my mage. I tried to do the same on my lock, but I got sucked into a crappy group. After the 8th wipe, I started to see how long it would take me to download and install Fraps, cause this raid was horrible. It had all the elements of a terribad raid. Raid leader has this overly complicated, stupid strategy that doesn't really work. 20 minutes it took for him to explain it. There was a know it all boomkin who turned out to be a retard. Near the end, I was beyond iritated, so I tried to tell them what has worked in the past for me. It was my friends guild, and he asked me to help out. It seems every week I am surprised at how dumb some people can be. I usually tell them to go play everquest

My husband finally got the achievment last week and the drake, but since the last patch it's not a 310 mount anymore. I'm so not into Wow anymore it's sad, and I think the cataclysm is going to ruin it for me. I miss Vanilla wow.

I miss vanilla too, which is why a few of my guildies still run the old stuff.

they need to do somethign about the BC heroic keys for instances..i hate having to do only mana tombs ..over and over and over cuz no one bothers to quest in outalnds anymore.

Wow is somethign hubby and i still have in common...and its way cheaper than alot of other things lol. I've tried to get away honest i have..lol but to no avail.

I'm so happy I stopped caring about my lock. In fact I've been running my Shadow Priest as a main since the last patch which the Raid Leader is letting me do. Looks like I'll continue to use that as Locks get screwed and that just means more reason for me to make my SP my main from now on...

Ret palis didn't get hit that hard. At least you don't have to burn holy energy on divine storm, so sharing a GCD with crusader strike isn't really much of an issue. Nobody got nerfed quite as bad as locks.

LOL, last weekend, I finally decided to lvl my DK. It has been lvl 55 for like 2 years

Anyone have any tips for playing unholy DK (i'm lvl 68 atm) or Blood (tanking).

For unholy, I use plague strike, frost fever, then spread my diseases and start whacking with whatever strike pops up on my bar (gotta love omni_cc addon). At lvl 67 last night, in Sethekk Halls, I did 1400 DPS, roughly 1300 on single target boss segments. My friend told me that with my gear/chants/gems, I should be doing 100-150 more. I'm just more worried about using the proper rotation. I would read up on it myself, but EJ is still blocked at work

LOL Warlord, I did the same thing about 2 months ago. My shadow priest is now my main. I was considering going back to my lock, but not after this patch. Thanks blizz, you didn't even bother to give warlock's a reach around.
