Oh, I dunno. As a lifelong Horde player, I've seen some pretty ridiculous things in /2.

Y'all should have seen it during the Olympics in that final hockey game between the US and Canada - it went nuts, in an everybody's-flaming-one-or-both-countries kind of way.

... Did I, the Canadian female, just type "y'all"?

I had been scouting a new realm to play on. It seemed really cool, decent progression, less trade chat trolling, and a balanced population and economy. There were two guilds, one horde, one alliance that were on-par with each other, both with 10/25 man LK kills and working on hard modes. Well, the alliance guild basically disintegrated, and the core raiders are faction changing and joining the top horde guild. Now the fallout from that begins. From what i've seen, the alliance is just completely falling apart and people are faction changing. Sigh. Oh well, I guess I might just faction change my lvl 80's and go horde. Does that mean I have to suddenly be nicer and not gank every flagged person I see?

Professor putricide is one of the hardest fights in there. So many people just don't switch to the oozes fast enough and it's absolutely maddening watching people do the same ###### over and over. I broke my old record on blood queen on friday night. I got the first bite, and spiked out at 27K. I really don't raid as much anymore. I'm still looking for a guild, on a realm that fits my schedule. Until then, i'm just kind of messing about. I don't want to rush home so that I can raid, I want to come home, walk the dogs, have a nice dinner with my wife, and relax, then raid. But alas, it seems that nobody raids at 8 p.m. pacific. Now, I say that I don't raid that much anymore, but I have 3 toons with a 5.6K+ gear score, so yeah, I guess I kinda do.

We do! Mondays we raid at 8:30, fridays at 6:30, but there are some out there, I'm just going to say probably not on your realm. If you can make those times and are a tank we can talk

I've retired from tanking now. I was gearing up my paladin to be a tank and was doing OK for a while. TBH, ICC is not hard to tank at all. You just need to know where to face the boss and when to taunt off the OT really. I tried to do Ulduar hard modes on saturday for the rusted proto drake. I forgot how much more technical Ulduar is. I failed miserably. I turned my ashen verdict tanking ring back in for the DPS one. I tank heroics now cause I hate waiting 10-15 minutes in a queue as DPS for random dailies, and blow up ICC as a ret pali.

I just discovered this long thread. It's nice to see some WoW players on this forum. My fiancee and I didn't meet on Wow, but the game will probably keep us sane during our K-1 Visa process. We play alliance side on Shadow Council (and ofcourse horde side always has WG since faction change was introduced). Our guild primarily run ICC-10 and we're currently working on Sindragosa (aka the angry female dragon). The last phase is a pain.

I think I'm one of the few people who isn't that excited with the release of Cata. This video pretty much sums up what I think of it:

Heroic DM anyone?

June 2003 - Met online

July 2004 - Met in person (in Texas), then travelled back and forth for the next couple of years

June 7, 2010 - Fiancee sent off I-129F

December 6, 2010 - Sent Packet 3 (via XpressPost Canada)

December 20, 2010 - Received Packet 4 from Montreal Consulate (P4 was dated Dec. 14)

Yep that pretty sums it up for me. I'm the only one in my guild that couldn't care less about the expansion and am thinking that might be a good exit point from the game. I am barely playing it anymore as I'm kind of bored with it all...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

I am sort of excited about Cataclysm. I'm not excited about lvling different toons and professions etc. I really do hate lvling. I had 4 disasterous PuG's just last weekend. I really do think it's impossible to down LK with a PuG group. Even if everyone has done it before, most people have done things a bit different, and with a pug, you really only have maybe 90 minutes worth of attempts at LK before you start to lose people. I am currently running Stratholme over and over and over on various toons. One, I need the runecloth for rep turn ins (bloodsail admiral title, and for city rep for mounts), and trying for baron rivendare's mount. Other than that, I manage to find the most failed PuG ICC groups in the world. Sigh.

Eww, EQ? That is not to be mentioned here.
