Couple question for anyone:

Is there a trick to ToC in that phase where the shadow of a random boss shows up? Our healer is always getting silenced and I (tank) am sure I have aggro on the shadow. Can I do anything about it?

Just saw this today. Bit odd, no one I know has had the silencing problem - yes fearing, no silencing.

Maybe the healer is standing too close?

I did not know about WOW until I read a few comments in this tread, now I am a little addicted (too much free time on my hands now)

Sadly I know that I need an Engineer to have it, but know none... Thanks for confirming it anyway, I am an Elf and I made a human that I am not using, I will make my human an engineer, maybe next year I can continue with my poor Elf's quest.

I meant that I think you actually have to be an engineer to create one and use it - it's not something you can buy from and engineer. Wow is fun, glad you are enjoying it!

if i recall you have to still have someone on the confessor interupting her heals as well but not attacking her as she can reflect your abilities back at you. Maybe that is what's happening? other than that the fights are generally simple.

Wewt, my guild finally downed the PvP fight in 25 man ToC last night and then we downed General Vezax in 3 mins 58 seconds. Ugh, going to spend at least 4 hours on yogg tonight. We manage to get to phase 3 perfectly, but then all hell breaks loose. I'll be watching tankspot videos today to see ####### i'm doing wrong.

As for ToC 5 man, I've never done it that way with an interruptor. When she spawns the ghost of whatever boss past, we always shift to that one and nuke it down. I have to save my badges of triumph for a loooooooooooong time. There's no point in getting each piece one by one for me because I lose a really good 4 piece bonus fom my T8 set.

The Faction Champs in ToC are such a headache... I wasn't with my guild last week when they successfully downed them, but this week we one-shot 'em (if you don't count three random pulls that we chose to wipe because we were still handing out assignments when a pet wandered over ).

The next boss, though, the Twins, has got to be one of the coolest boss fights I've dealt with in a long time. Once everyone got their feet wet to understand the mechanics of the fight, it was a lot of fun. The real fun was trying to actually finish the battle before the instance server restart (as it did three times while attempting them). I guess ours is one of the 60% of North American servers that stills needs that hardware upgrade on the servers...

Faction champs is really easy...... If you don't have a resto druid in the makeup. God help you. With the resto druid last week, took 3 attempts. Last night, we downed the whole thing in 3 mins. The twins I found really really easy. Just a matter of watching the portal buffs and paying attention to which one you are attacking. We finally downed yogg last night on 25 man, so on to Hard mode tonight.

I asked last night and apparently Hogger does make an appearance periodically!

We decided to go old school last night, with 5 of us from our original guild group. We did Mech - hoping that the suneater would drop for our tank (my Husband) - he has been waiting for that thing - well a long time.

Needless to say - no suneater

I'm hoping to do a Naxx 10 run tonight on my pali. My gear is absolutely dreadful and need to gear up badly. However, I know my guild is wanting to do a ulduar 25 run on Hard mode now so I don't know what is going to happen tonight.
