Woot! Just got done doing my rep with the Oracles to revered, I bought my first egg 3 days ago, wish me luck!!

But it doesn't matter, hubby got his Time-Lost Proto Drake after only 1 week of farming a few months ago....lucky #######

Congrats Mephys! I should start working on this rep as I basically have nothing interesting to do in wow at the moment. I basically pop in every night and say hi to everyone and then do like the fishing daily.

We only raid on weekends, I have - or rather had over 500 badges of heroism and nothing to buy with them - I started buying frozen orbs and selling them.

I couldn't believe how ridiculously easy it was to make cash this way.

Ran some buddies' alts through 10m Naxx on Tuesday night... boy, was that painful. 7/10 hadn't been there before in any capacity. Myself and a DK were top two dps in our 25m Naxx/Ulduar gear... and there was a good 2k dps between us and everyone else in the run.

Quite thankful that the orbs are selling well on TL right now. Otherwise... that's what I get for owing favours, haha.

Ugh, forzen orbs only sell for about 40g on our realm now. Runed orbs are down to about 300. I'm really hoping that they don't go through with the faction transfers. My realm is about 60/40 alliance/horde and the alliance economy is fvcked up. I make a nice profit buying stuff on the horde AH and transfering it and reselling on teh alliance side.

I dual spec my pali last night and decided to tank for my wifes sister in UK. I had never tanked before, and was not defense capped (only 480 Def). I always knew tanking was harder than healing and DPS, but good god it was impossible at the beginning. I really hate survival hunters lol. They draw too much aggro. I was going to let her die a few times to get her to stop spamming explosive shot all the time, but she just FD and let it go to the healer. I couldn't believe how much MP I burned through. Oh well, one wipe on the first mob because I pulled 8 instead of the intended 3. I did have to use lay of hands on boss fights though.

Congrats on the mount Laura.... I've been trying for about 2.5 months now. I've gotten nothing but tickbird hatchlings and rotten eggs. I am still trying for the polar bear mount too.

So Doom Lord Kazzak wiped our raid last night on a Hodir attempt. I had to explain to 24 people why I died a couple of minute into the fight. I was MT healing.

"Um...my kitten just climbed up my shirt and attacked my hair. I put him on the floor and tried to catch up on the MT while I had stacks of debuffs. Then Kazzak did it again just before a deep freeze..."

The Doom Lord is now banned from the office during raids.

So Doom Lord Kazzak wiped our raid last night on a Hodir attempt. I had to explain to 24 people why I died a couple of minute into the fight. I was MT healing.

The polar bear mount you can get from that daily in Storm Peaks, just west of where you do the sons of hodir dailies. It's the area where when you fly over it, you turn into an amazon woman I've been doing it every day for nearly 3 months. Friend of mine got the mount first try.... ugh.

They sell for about 68 on ours now, they were selling for around 100.

I know some dude that has been farming that thing for like 5 months.

I did a few times but...I'm not holding my breath!!

Gosh darnit - my daughter's account was hacked this morning.

Here's the scenario so don't fall for it....she got a weird whisper yesterday telling about a site she can get a free trial of some mount or pet (think we've talked about it in this thread already) so she wrote the site down, but she'd heard us say it was a scam so she didn't do anything.

then this morning - as she was signing into the game, the splash page had a warning which said 'something' about the scam and that something had been fixed (where you can usually see servers listed when they're down) but she mistook it to say Blizzard had fixed a bug...so off she went to the website, signed in and yes...it asks for your wow password and within about 1-2 minutes she got kicked off as the scammers sgned into her account.

Luckily she immediately knew something was wrong and came whipping upstairs so we quickly changed the password again on the account (my email had already gotten the notification of the scammer changing it a few minutes before) HOWEVER - the account has been temporarily disabled by Blizzard so I suspect the person didn't do much except spam in chat from her account - they didn't have time. The armory shows none of her chars as missing gear so I think she got off lucky.

Moral of the story - DO NOT give out that password and get the darn authenticator asap! I'll be contacting Blizz monday to get things cleared up.

People still fall for stuff. Blizzard has told everyone over and over again never go to anything linked in a mail message from another toon or a whisper or anything. And never go to any site and enter in your account information. There is unfortunatly going to be people that will do this. Blizzard really can't do anymore and people unfortunatly will have to be responsible when they fall for these things. I was lucky to get my authenticator the first morning they were released and got it 2 days later.

The only 3 places you should ever ever use your login information is in the game to get online, at blizzard.com to log into the forums and to your account on blizzard.com. You shouldn't ever even click on a link saying it's taking you to blizzard.com, you need to manually enter it in to your browser to be safe.

But yeah this mount scam has been going on for months now and people were warned about it already back in May...

I first couple of times I saw that one, I put in a ticket as well as reporting spam. These scammers really bother me. The people that give them a reason to exist by buying gold piss me off too.
