Anybody notice that they are now processing I-129F's received as of May 29th in Nebraska?

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the "bassackwardsness" (newly made up word  ) of the USCIS dontcha?

Just thought I'd give all of us in the CSC transfer club a little chuckle.

On a better note, they did update the CSC processing times.... it's now at Feb 15th

yeaahhh I noticed that. What's going on? I just filed mine June 19 to Nebraska (as in, they must have gotten it today by noon). I wonder if that means...anything. Especially since I heard they were no longer doing I-129Fs at all over there. Could be really good news for those of us who just filed there, but um.... I am not going to hold my breath for good news or a fast processing time.

Kind of a cruel joke on NSC's part though, after dumping everyone off on CSC. Jerks.

I wish I could laugh. I hate to be petty like this, but if people who sent their file to Nebraska after me start getting NOA2s while I am still waiting... I just don't find it funny.

I know it is how the cookie crumbles, but... I'm just crabby!

... so does "processing" mean sticking in an envelope and shipping it to CA? Becuase if not, it would make me a little pissed, especially since my receipt date was nearly a month before that.

Is this the Laguna Niguel, California PO Box? I live just minutes away in Laguna Beach. I've thought about Googling that address for it's location and checking it out. If I see little trolls entering and leaving the building holding files, I'll let you all know.

You know... when I sent my petition off I used a UPS store. They asked me if I wanted to send my package to the physical address instead of the P.O. Box. They looked up the address for the NSC and gave it to me.

I guess if you really wanted to, that would be one way to find the address!

No doubt someone will know but I can't find the link, but on this site we have some pix of CSC from a link given on a newspaper report showing how it works. It was HUGE - they have a seperate storage building for files - they use forklifts in there (I am not kidding) and the the shelves go up almost to the ceiling. After I read the article and saw the pix it amazed me they don't lose more than they do, paperwork wise.

I can only imagine working there is more than a little soul-destroying.

Edit to add: Gimy your tunnel was nowhere NEAR long enough!
