When I completed the DS-230 form (Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration) online, I noticed that some of the fields, like the applicant name, parents name, and date of birth, etc.) are highlighted in yellow. This did not go away when I printed the form. Is this normal? Would it be okay to send it in this way, or am I doing something wrong? Anyway to correct this?

Thanks,

Jamie

are you sure DS-230 is required? as far as I know it's not necessary for K1's...K1 is a non-immigrant visa.

Its definitely required for some countries, the UK included. I have followed the link on here for the Polish embassy and it says that it is not needed in Poland as the K1 is not an immigrant visa. However, when I have spoken to the London embassy, although they say the K1 is in theory a non-immigrant visa, it is treated as an immigrant visa. If you are unsure I would suggest speaking to the Polish embassy for clarification.
