... Until he is actively looking for a job, his primary job is to make you happy :)

He has not much leverage here, who paid for the car in the first place?

That might not even be the point, but the point is he needs to pitch in and help you... even with personnal matters :)

#######! Its not a mans job to make his wife happy!

you got that right.. it is a man's job to make his wife unhappy ...lol

 i'm doing a bang up job then.

you're the king

If he thinks its just a bad battery, I'd test that theory. Hook it up to his nuts, and see if he still thinks its a dead battery. He'll hand over the car keys.

He paid for the car at the county auto auction.

Right, even - a married couple is a team and he's not being a team player here.

My husband did something of that sort a while back when he washed HIS laundry and left mine aside - he didn't "feel" like washing mine...

When i cleaned the dishes a couple days later, I cleaned up mine then took his dirty ones, piled them up in a bucket and put that bucket on top

of his laptop, wrote a little note stating: "I didnt feel like washing yours either".

He got the idea...

He took my car and had the battery tested again and what do you know they said it's still good! However, he still refuses to believe it's the starter. He's got it in his head that it's the battery and that's that....I read the part in the repair manual that tells about the starter problem but he still claims it's the battery or battery connection.

It very well could be a connection at the starter. Wiggle the wire down there.

Not having a bathroom facility is against OSHA regulations, your employer should know he/she is crossing a thin line, your boss might get more to worry about if an inspector dropped by for a visit.

Try to get a jumpstart and see if your car will start, if it does remove the the positive cable from the battery, the car should still be running if the altenator is functioning properly, if the car dies it might be your alternator.

If you are closed to a wallmart, you can take your car there and they will do a free battery test if you can get the car is up and running

Gone but not Forgotten!

If someone didn't know what the topic was and they just saw this line someone might take this one the wrong way....lol

Men, can't live with em, can't shoot em.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
