Did I read correctly? He has no job, your car is off the road- and he won't let you drive his car to your job? Hmmm....Time to get another set of car keys cut.

As for the potty situation.....It's your employers responsibility to provide facilities; if they do not, I am sure they are in violation of some labor law.

Hope your car gets fixed soon, and good luck!

:)

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

I thought she said he wasn't out looking for a job.

He hasn't even started putting his resume into English. Claims he wants to be self employed. I told him he needs to work for someone else in the beginning to be able to see what he can do here.

I don't speculate on car problems, just go out, find the problem and fix it. Just a couple of weeks ago, my step-daughters" car stalled on her with a dead battery, AAA towed it to a local shop and wanted 800 bucks to repair it. I called my AAA and got the car towed home, took me a couple of hours to troubleshoot and ten bucks worth of parts, and the job was done right. Last year, some idiot contractor broke the water main, called the mayor and we had water in four hours.

The reason why I got on this board and still even don't know why I am here is because of problems with the USCIS that was the major stress force in our marriage, but all that is history now. The reason why we got married, is because we are soulmates, never even believed in that word until I met my wife, but she wasn't next door.

LOL, she wanted a treadmill, she got a treadmill, then she wanted it in my so-called home theater room, that is my room, she as her very own sitting room fixed up exactly the way she wants it. I have double drapes in "my" room that are light darkening, with sheers behind the drapes that causes the things to stick out about 12" from the wall, we now need that space for her treadmill. She wants cellular shades put in of her color, okay, but to get her color, have to pay an extra 500 bucks with the same crummy material as the standard color, plus I want room darkening shades where she prefers the light filtering kind. She never commented on my drapes before, but likes a more modern style where I prefer traditional. But I really don't care as long as she is happy, but do want my room dark. But we are not having a major battle over this, laugh a lot and trying to come up with a compromise. One is buying a tiny six foot LCD where room darkness is not that much of a factor, but we both love that ten foot screen. We will work it out.

Doesn't sound like you found your soulmate. Oh, we do share a single bedroom.

Take the car giving him the evil look only a wife can, point out the car is yours, argue that if he doesn't want you to take the car then you'll stay home and not work and he can support you both, demand your boss to find a solution or find who would be the support line for this kind of situation since it's probably a regulation somewhere saying you HAVE to have a bathroom at the work location.

As my fellow brazilians would say, "sobe nas tamanca e roda a baiana" which would mean something in the lines getting openly angry and show you're no fool.
